Is the offer automatic?
No. I look at what you've sent and get back to you myself. Ask me anything at that point, I'd rather talk it through than just hand you a number. Every offer is free and no-obligation, so if it's not for you, no hard feelings.
What if I don't know what my kit is called?
No problem at all. Send me a photo on WhatsApp or describe it as best you can — "silver camera with a big lens, says Olympus on it" is plenty to start with.
Who pays for the postage?
I do. Once we've spoken I'll email or message you a Royal Mail or DPD label to print and stick on the parcel. It costs you nothing but the packing tape.
What if it doesn't work?
Still send it. Plenty of what I buy is for parts or repair and it's worth something either way, a dead body with a good lens on it is a normal week. The form asks working or for parts, and that's only so neither of us is guessing. If you're not sure, say so.
How and when do I get paid?
Bank transfer or PayPal, whichever suits you. I check the kit over when it arrives and pay you straight after, usually within a day. If I've picked it up in person, it can be cash in your hand there and then.
Do you handle house clearances and estates?
Yes — I regularly buy complete collections. I can view in person locally, or you can send photos and I'll make an offer for the lot.
